My work is primarily hand-formed earthenware, stoneware and porcelain. I develop and make my own glazes and engobes.

The objects I make are ‘one-of-a-kind’, and I am inspired by the roughness of nature,

and the vibrant and unique qualities of used, worn and weathered objects and surfaces.
I love to use contrasts in my work: smooth vs rough, gloss vs matte, organic vs geometry, dark vs light. They bring tension, life, catch the eye again and again.
This is reflected in the form, texture and finishing of the objects I make.
In my atelier I have enough space and all the tools and materials needed to follow creativity where it wants to go.
